• Earth-friendly practices produce healthier vines and richer, more flavorful wines.
• Fetzer is the largest grower of certified organically grown grapes in California and one of the largest in the world.
• Our grape vines thrive on our natural compost of leftover grape skins, stalks and seeds.
• We plant diverse cover crops in all the vineyards we farm (approx. 1800 acres) between vine rows to attract spiders, ladybugs, lacewings, wasps and other useful predators to control unwanted pests.
• We protect and conserve resources to build naturalhabitat, provide homes to birds, fish and other wildlife.
