Your Organic Experience begins with an overnight stay at Valley Oaks, located just off the beaten path in the prime, unspoiled atmosphere of Southern Mendocino County. Here, you will find comfort in one of our three Deluxe Rooms, each featuring an ultra-plush queen size bed, private bath, and covered patio with a spectacular vineyard view. After a dreamy night at the winery, help yourselves to our complimentary continental breakfast featuring assorted pastries, fresh fruit from our organic garden, juices, gourmet coffee and teas. With the morning sun still climbing the Northern California sky, you and a guest will be whisked away to our breath taking Bonterra Ranch. Once there, you will be treated to a VIP tour of our acclaimed organic gardens. Explore the vineyard’s beautiful diverse cover crop where, if you look closely, you just might catch a glimpse of some of the beneficial insects that are an integral part of organic agriculture. After this rich experience you will be invited to a cozy fire side food and wine pairing in our rustic Bonterra Barn. The certified organic Bonterra Ranch, in the Russian River bench lands of Mendocino, is perhaps the finest expression of our philosophy; genuine respect for the land will result in exceptional wines.

At Valley Oaks, these aren’t just words, they are a way of life. Indulgence is encouraged in our spacious cottage complete with all the necessary amenities to make your stay truly special. This cozy bungalow, furnished with a queen bed, a sitting area with television, and a ample tiled bathroom with a European style shower, is sure to meet your needs. It has a private wisteria covered patio, lawn area and young redwood grove with beautiful views of our lush vineyards and rolling hillsides. You and your guest will renew your energy with a luscious basket of dried fruits, nuts, cheeses and crackers. You will also find aromatic lotions and soaps that may help to cleanse the tension away. Next Stop, The Mendocino Coast
Put on your hiking shoes, grab your sweat shirt and head for the rugged, majestic Mendocino Coast. With an experienced tracker as your guide, you and your guest, will venture on an 8-hour tour of the Mendocino Coast. Walk the Mendocino Headlands, tour the redwoods and enjoy the colorful local hangouts. During the day you will stop and feast on a gourmet picnic lunch paired with delicious Fetzer wines. Imagine yourself nestled at the trunk of a majestic redwood, or standing on the inspiring Mendocino Headlands with the sea-breeze chasing all your cares away. At the end of this adventurous day you will be chauffeured back to Valley Oaks where you will enjoy the comfort of one of our two suites, which includes a separate bedroom with a queen size bed, spacious living area with queen size sofa sleeper, a fully functional kitchenette, large bathroom with double whirlpool bath and shower, and an unbelievable view of the vineyards. The next morning, enjoy a leisurely continental breakfast featuring locally made pastries, seasonal fruit from our garden, juices, gourmet coffee and teas.
