Flatbed Red

Our Flatbed Red is a rich, jammy blend of Zinfandel, Petite Sirah and Petit Verdot. The nose brims with aromas of boysenberry pie, black cherries and plums. The palate delivers raspberry and black cherry, with threads of freshly turned earth, prunes, cocoa, cinnamon, dark chocolate and anise. This is an approachable, full-bodied red wine with smooth tannins and a juicy finish.

The 2016 season started warm, but a relatively mild growing season ensued, characterized by minimal frost and rain. Following fermentation, the wine was aged in a mix of French and America oak for eight months to further develop its complexity and texture.
